With the end of 2013 in sight I wanted to take a minute to share with you some of the most read content on the site over the past 12 months. Some of this stuff get’s a little lost as the website grows, but it’s worth digging out once in a while, and sharing it with new visitors to the site.
When I got into the details of what people were reading, I was pleased to see how things looked. Almost everything in the top 10 list fell into one of 2 categories: Things to do/Places to visit, and Travel Tips. There were a couple of stray cats in there too, like the yummy recipe for Irish soda bread. Here’s the full break down…
The Cork City Gaol – #10
I had been meaning to put this article together for quite some time. I took a trip to the jail in 2012, but I didn’t get around to sharing my experience and photos from there until June of this year. I’m glad to see the post made it onto this list.

A list of things to do in Cork City – #1
This is a post I wrote a while back that gets quite a lot of attention. Cork might look like a small city, and it is, but there’s always so much going on. My list should give you some ideas of what to do if you find yourself there for a few days.
There’s plenty more great content too of course. I’d like to say thank you to all the guest writers who have contributed to the blog over the past 12 months, and I have to give a special mention to Kim McNamara-Wilson. Kim’s Irish Faerie Folk series was hugely popular during Halloween, and continues to attract plenty of readers. Her articles are always so well researched and written. If you haven’t read any of them, I highly recommend taking some time to do so.
Thanks for reading 🙂
